QIN Lan glows with Piaget
On September 7, 2012, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the prestigious event reputed for showing the direction where Oscar goes, has officially kicked off.
World renowned watchmaker and jeweller Piaget once again made its appearance on the glamorous occasion as Chinese actress QIN Lan glowed on the red carpet with the shining sparkles created by the magical encounters between jewellery, watches and the film art.
At TIFF this year, the film 'The Last Supper', in which QIN Lan played the leading role, was invited to the Special Screenings section, and held its global premiere there on September 8.
At the opening gala, QIN Lan walked down the red carpet in a black evening gown, exuding the regal air just like Queen LV, the ancient queen she played in the film.
While another look she adopted was super contemporary. A long grey jacket was matched with a pair of suit pants of the same style, giving a sober look without losing her singularity.
Accompanying the two looks were Piaget jewellery and watches.
The Piaget Possession earrings dangled by her face with iridescent diamonds lighting up the night sky just like stars.
The watch made of white gold, diamonds and mother-of-pearl peeked out from her sleeves, adding a modern and intellectual touch in a casual way.
As the world’s preeminent watchmaker and jeweller, Piaget has not only created numerous masterpieces, but also established strong ties with the film art. From Independent Spirit Awards in the United States and Hong Kong Film Awards to the Cannes International Film Festival and Shanghai International Film Festival, Piaget has been offering immense support to the development of the film industry for a long time.
While this time, Piaget teamed up with QIN Lan in the starlit Toronto, bringing not only “a great supper”, but also a lavish banquet of jewellery and watches.
